The Bankside Gastronomic Experience took place on 9th March 06, it was designed to make people aware of the changes that have taken place at Vinopolis over the past year.

The new Bar, Bar Blue was where the tour started with cocktails and canapes.

The next stage of the evening was a quick trip through the Vinopolis wine tour - taking in various different wine producing regions including Georgia (where wine originated), Italy (with Bacchus - the god of wine), Asia, Australia and South Africa.

The next stage was to go through to the Bombay Sapphire Experience to enjoy a cocktail. it's a stunning space. Finally you'll be taken through to Brew Wharf - a newly opened Restaurant and Bar (with it's own microbrewery) to learn about beer and to sample some delights from Borough Market.
