RSA Design
Directions
Under the new name of the RSA Design Directions, the
awards have been revamped to reflect the RSA’s new manifesto
for its 250th year. The initiative has been divided into
awards and collaborations.
In the awards â where the categories include ceramic
futures, interactive media, less crime through design,
medical products, packaging, postage stamps, re-innovation,
and transport â high-quality work has been produced across
the board.
Further to the awards, collaborations will be judged
during the next couple of months, and consist of Inclusive
Worlds, a multidisciplinary project for students across
Europe; Engineering in the Olympics â developing engineering
and technology solutions for the Olympic Games; and Voting
by Design â designing solutions to encourage people to
vote, not only in the UK, but also abroad.
